Discover God's Perspective
Before
embarking on a long road trip, most of us make sure we understand where
we are going, and why we are going there. We carefully plan the route,
prepare our vehicles, and pack for the journey, giving special attention
to choosing activities that fit with the goals for the trip.
When we become believers, we embark on a long journey with God. We know our ultimate destination, Heaven--where we will worship Him for all eternity! Our greatest struggle is with sorting and selecting among the many important and good things we could do during our life journey.
As we make choices, we need to consider God's overall purposes for every believer. While we will all definitely arrive at our destination, we can either meander through life or incorporate His overall purpose, and live strategically by choosing activities that fit with His goals for our trip. Our desire is to see God's glory shine in us, through us, and as a light to the nations!
